The Inspector General of Government, Hon. Beti Kamya Turwomwe, has said Mr. Richard Byarugaba, the former NSSF Managing Director and indeed all suspects into the NSSF saga will be summoned to make a statement at a convenient time.

The IGG in a media statement, says preliminary investigations are still being conducted, adding that "we don't always begin by inviting the main suspect."

This follows Mr. Byarugaba's concern, while appearing before Parliament's Select Committee probing the NSSF saga, that the IGG was yet to summon him amid all allegations that had been thrown at him.
