The Inspector General of Government, Hon. Beti Kamya Turwomwe and her Deputies, Ms. Anne Twinomugisha Muhairwe and Dr. Patricia Achan Okiria have assumed office.

They were received by the Secretary to Inspectorate of Government, Mrs. Rose N. Kafeero, and selected members of IG Management and Staff.

The trio took their oaths at State House, Entebbe during a ceremony that was conducted by the Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet, Ms Lucy Nakyobe, and witnessed by H.E. President Yoweri Museveni.

President Museveni urged the new leadership at the Inspectorate of Government, to enhance the fight against corruption as the population is already fed up with the corrupt officials.
