Mp bukonzo east, kasese arrested for embezzlement of constituency development funds.

Hon. Bihande Bwambale Yokasi, the Memebr of Parliament representing Bukonzo East Constituency Kasese district has been arrested and charged before the Anti Corruption court with embezzlement of Ug. Shs 20,000,000 Constituency development funds for the Financial years FY2008/2009 and FY 2009/2010 and thereafter filing a false and forged accountability of thee said funds to the Speaker of Parliament of Uganda.
The funds were advanced to him in the financial year of 2008/2009. He never carried out the earmarked activities.
Accused MP entered a plea of not guilty on 24th May 2011 and was granted cash bail of Ug. shs. 2,000,000 on each case by Her worship Sarah Langa. The case was adjourned to 23rd June 2011 for mention.
