INVITATION TO BID FOR DISPOSAL OF ASSETS – IG/DISP

1. The Inspectorate of Government (IG) intends to dispose of assets (Land and property) located in the areas of Busega-Kampala District, Nakitokolo- Wakiso, Kitende Sissa–Wakiso and Buwate-Wakiso District. The asset(s) are sold on an “as is, where is” basis and the IG will have no further liability after sale.
2. The IG invites sealed bids for the purchase of the above assets described as Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Public Bidding Disposal Method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2023 and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested bidders may inspect the asset(s) at the location indicated in 8(a) from 02/07/2024 to 05/07/2024, from 10am to 4pm.
5. The bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non- refundable fee of UGX 100,000. The method of payment will be cash deposited onto the URA Account in the Bank, using Bank Payment Advice Forms which should be collected from the IG Accounts Department 6th Floor, Room 6.12. The document may thereafter be collected from the Procurement and Disposal Unit 2nd floor, Room 2.11, upon presentation of the receipt.
6. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as follows; Lot 1: UGX 3,380,000. Lot 2: UGX 11,700,000. Lot 3: UGX 38,540,000. Lot 4: UGX 780,000
7. Bids must be delivered to the address indicated in 8(b) on 10/07/2024 at 11:00am. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the address indicated in 8(c) on 10/07/2024 at 11:30am.

   1. Interested bidders will inspect the assets at their respective locations. Bidders will assemble at the IG Head office Parliament Avenue at 10am during inspection period.
   2. Bids must be delivered to: Inspectorate of Government Head Office, Room 2.11, 2nd Floor, Jubilee Insurance Centre, Plot 14, Parliament Avenue, Kampala.
   3. Address of bid opening: IG Library, 2nd Floor.
